This is where you can do your best work.Join us at the intersection of saving and sustaining lives—where your purpose accelerates our mission.SummaryWe are looking for a Supply Chain Planner to willing to join the team on a 1 year FTC basis and be operationally accountable for the EMEA planning and reporting activities of a specified supply chain network.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for the procurement planning, purchasing, inventory management of particular portfolio of finished goods.Formulate & communicate short to mid-term tactical plans that balance supply & demandManage regional purchase orders and invoice approvals.Collaborate with other Planners and Managers, Demand planners, Cluster fulfilment, Commercial & Shipping teams.Proactively report supply chain risks e.g. low cover and escalate issues where appropriate to Commercial and Regulatory teams.Align transfer orders, for stock and samples, where appropriate and send to ERP system for executionReview transfer order exceptions and cancel, close out, or decrease or orders where necessaryMonitor supply chain performance, review & support planning parameters and drive continuous improvement initiatives.Contribute to achieving inventory targetsSupport input to financial planning and forecasting processesSupports Life-cycle Management e.g. New Product Launch, Phase in /Phase out etc.Qualifications At least 2 years of related experienceDemonstrable strategic level of operational and/or supply chain experienceEvidence of ongoing continuing professional developmentStrong people skills and the ability to work effectively with people across many different functionsOutstanding communication skills requiredSuperior computer skills, particularly Excel, reading and creating reports and conducting analysis for business decisionsDemonstrates strategic thinking, influencing and change management skillsKnowledge of JDE or similar platform6 Sigma green or black belt / Kinaxis Rapid Response knowledge would be considered an advantageIn-depth understanding of all aspects of end to end supply chain and how we interact with other functionsStrong analytical and problem solving skills.Embraces change, challenges status quo and makes recommendations for improvements to processes.Ability to communicate across multiple levels of the organization, verbally (face to face and virtual) and writtenCapable of analysing and solving problems through innovative thoughtDrives results with urgency and accountability, possessing solid financial and business acumen#IND-UKOPSReasonable AccommodationsBaxter is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities.
