About this opportunity: We have an exciting opportunity for an Administrator to join our successful Birmingham Financial Planning team on an 18-month fixed term contract. Ensuring you provide a robust administration function to the team in an efficient and timely manner as part of your daily responsibility is essential. Within this role you will need to provide support to senior colleagues with various tasks to ensure smooth running of the team. Responsibilities Include: Communicating with Financial Advisers and client professionally Receiving and acting on instructions from advisers and paraplanners following client meetings Preparing client files and documentation for adviser meetings Preparing and processing new business in an accurate and timely matter Liaising with clients and product providers on outstanding documents and queries. Monitoring of transfers of assets/cash from other institutions Processing of payments clients Liaising with colleagues within Business Support regarding administration of client accounts. Ensuring client details and reviews are recorded correctly on systems General record keeping and electronic filing Adhering to Conduct Risk standards Skills: Willing to work to obtain qualifications relevant to the role. Previous administration experience is essential – additional training will be provided. Intermediate knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook preferred. Good attention to detail, maintaining accuracy when completing written and numerical based tasks. Clear and concise communication skills – oral and written, with ability to communicate professionally with clients and colleagues. Takes accountability for own work, with ability to meet deadlines/work within restricted timescales. Flexible and reliable team member and willing to support more junior and senior members of the team as required. Ability to work on own initiative to achieve required results.
