Employer description:Pink Connect are a national Business Communications, IT and Digital Security company established in 2002, offering a complete suite of leading-edge business solutions for thousands of small and medium-size organisations across the UK.We are dedicated to customer service and enjoy 98% customer loyalty year on year. Overview:This is an amazing opportunity for an apprentice to start a career in IT & Telecoms.Offering leading edge business solutions for thousands of small and medium size organisations across the UK, we are looking for a Data Specialist Apprentice to join our team.This apprenticeship will be a fantastic opportunity and gain a nationally recognised qualification. Full training will be provided by face to face tutor visits, online resources etc. Job type: Full-time, ApprenticeshipSalary: £200.00 per week Duties and Responsibilities:For this Data Specialist Apprenticeship, you will be tasked with:Dealing with suppliers’ invoices, process them for paymentGeneral customer billing queries, 1st point of contactHelping to resolve any billing issues or escalate to the right teamEnsuring our customers and Franchisees are supported through all their queriesSend emails to customers, to debtors and assist with collectionPrinting, filing, shreddingCredit checking businessesAssisting with contracts and reportsSending welcome packsWorking with the Sales Team to expand customers' accountsDesired skills:For this Data Specialist Apprenticeship, the right candidate will have:An interest in the IT & Telecoms industryA driving license [as travelling will be a key part of the role]Excellent communication skills – verbal and writtenIT literate – Microsoft Office, online systems for ordering products and booking phone callsMature telephone mannerOrganisation and time managementWillingness to learn new skills and work in a loud and busy environmentPersonal qualities:The successful Data Specialist Apprentice will be:A team player while also being able to work independentlyOptimistic and positive ‘can do’ attitudeHave an excellent sense of humourSelf – motivated and hard workingResilient and able to deal with business busy situationsWork experience is desirable but not essential must have a keen interest/passion in Accuracy, Supporting People, Processes.Overall personality and willingness to learn is equally important. Experience with active business environments important too. The right apprentice will be excited to work towards achieving a highly recognised level 4 qualification.Entry requirements: GCSE English and Maths at grade C or above and 2x A Levels (1 including Maths, Economics or ICT), orAn International Baccalaureate at Level 3 in ICT, orA Level 3 apprenticeship in a similar subject, orA BTEC Extended Diploma in IT (180 credits, orA minimum of 15 months of experience within the last 24 months or 18 months in the last 36 months in an IT role.Specific roles that are acceptable are:Data Administrator Business Analyst You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
