We are very proud to have partnered with a fantastic client who are a growing business in Bristol looking to bring on board an Accounts & Administration Assistant in what is a very important role for the business. We are looking for someone who is AAT qualified or suitably qualified by experience, candidates with experience of working in the construction industry or similar may be best suited, although candidates from all industries are encouraged to apply!
You will be supporting the business' finance department as well as taking care of the administration duties and supporting relevant teams. If you are looking for a busy and varied role and are keen on a long-term role with a growing business, this is the role for you!
You'll be the first point on contact in the office, you will also be involved in liaising with customers and suppliers, dealing with payment queries, credit control and invoicing. Your other responsibilities will include filing, scanning placing orders, data entry, and managing staff expenses.
Responsibilities of the role:
" Liaising with the Finance Manager
" Data entry into the in-house Accounting software
" Processing credit applications
" Assisting the estimating & project management teams where required
" Sending out invoices and credit control
" Processing and filing post daily.
" Scanning all documentation and filing using our inhouse system (on which you will be trained)
" Hard copy supplier statement reconciliations
" Processing stationery and office supply orders
" Collate credit card expense receipts and input data
" File statements and invoices
" Keep office Health and Safety folder up to date
" Organising travel and accommodation for sub-contractors
" Other ad hoc duties
